As a cat lover and a volunteer for an animal rescue, it's a rare occasion that I do not have one or more cats, kittens or animals sitting on my lap. During the holiday season, it just wouldn't seem right not to share it with our fur babies. A gathering without them seems empty. This piece reflects the gathering of a sibling set that was rescued and I sat holding on my lap one evening not so long ago.
