We often think of humans as the creatures that 'gather' yet we are far from the only ones. Birds of a feather obviously flock together, but so do entire ecosystems of plants, fungus and insects that may not be of the same species, but still rely on each others' intrinsic parts in the great circle of life. 'Splendorifica' asks an audience to pause and ponder just where we as humans can make ourselves a useful part of even the smallest 'gathering' ecosystems, even if it's only in our own backyards.
