Photography - Shooting with a Smartphone
with Laura Cleary Williams
Saturday, February 15th from 10-3 PM.
In this one day, split session workshop, Williams will be leading attendees through instruction, discussion and hands on practice utilizing a smartphone to photograph and document artwork. Attendees will learn about the importance of proper photography of their work, the differences between a smartphone camera and a DSLR camera and when one is appropriate over the other. Artists will get hands on experience with tools, equipment and editing software.
Artists who register will be expected to come prepared and to stay for the whole session. The workshop will include lecture/discussion, hands on experience and work together in groups. We will take an hour lunch break in the middle of the session from 12-1 and attendees can either bring lunch or visit one of the many restaurants along Frazier Avenue.
